For the past 22 years and seven terms of office, I have had the privilege of representing the citizens of Richmond Hill on Town Council.
During this period, I was involved in much of the guidance of the Town's remarkable growth and development.

In a recent study by the Conference Board of Canada, Richmond Hill was named as one of the best places to live. I am pleased to have played a part in shaping Richmond Hill to be the kind of supporting community it is today.
Police Chief Armand La Barge said some nice things at an event in honour of my 20 years in office in November 2008 (see video excerpt above). (Note: This is not a political endorsement.)
